Hi all , the winter training chain gang are meeting up at the Community School Gorey every saturday and sunday morning leaving at 10am sharp , there will be two groups heading out the road the A group (experienced riders ) will cover anything from 80kms plus and the B group (beginners and underage riders ) will cover 40kms plus depending on the weather conditions on the day , members of other clubs are more than welcome to come along and New Members are welcome to turn up and join in but must have a bike in good working order and ware a helmet .

The Slipstream cycling club would like to welcome in a new club member with a lot of talent for her age and that is Ashling Fitzpatrick from Clough Gorey , Ashling took part in her first open event a few weeks back a TT from Oilgate to Enniscorthy and took the honours of first place in the U16 event , she is also showing great progress in her training while out with the group at the weekends , she will be one to watch for a place in the ladies race calender for 2010 season.
